We are back like we never left!
The Electric Mobility Technical Training program by Advanced Mobility Africa in partnership with Kenya Power and various e-mobility stakeholders is back.
The program will have two different groups at the Institute of Energy Studies & Research (KPLC Training School) at Ruaraka, Nairobi as follows;
Cohort 1 – from Mon 20th – Thur 23rd Jan 2025 from 8.00 am – 5.00 pm daily.
Cohort 2 – from Wed 22nd – Sat 25th Jan 2025 from 8.00 am – 5.00 pm daily.
The goal of this training program is to give in-depth EV technology skills to the participants first hand as the technology wave of change sweeps over the industry in Africa. The practical training will be carried out by TAURAYI RAYMOND SEWERA who is internationally certified by ACDC as a Master Hybrid and Electric Vehicles Technician, AMi accredited Master Electric Vehicles Master Technician and has been crowned by the ASE & Autocare Association as a World Class Technician.
So far over 170 participants have been trained from different sectors & organizations including KPLC, NTSA, GIZ, AA, ISUZU, LOXEA, TOTAL, KEMRA, GA Insurance, Knights Energy, BasiGo, Roam Electric, ICEA Insurance, Autopax, Vai Capital & many others.
At the heart of the training is the teardown of a fully functioning electric vehicle and reassembly by the participants. A field visit to several e-mobility firms around Nairobi also adds to the perspective of where the industry is going and the resulting commercial opportunities. Participants must attend all sessions and pass an assessment to qualify for a Certificate of Completion.
